The unit, which is the result of an acquisition of InsideOut Sports + Entertainment LLC run by tennis legend Jim Courier and founding partner Jon Venison, enhances Horizon’s existing event and entertainment marketing capabilities and will provide marketers with unprecedented access to talent and unique live event opportunities.
InsideOut is one of the industry’s leading proprietary owned event content and production companies. InsideOut Sports & Entertainment is a Los Angeles-based independent event production company founded by tennis great Jim Courier, along with sports and entertainment business executive and event management veteran, Jon Venison. Courier and Venison will spearhead the company as Co-Presidents of InsideOut, based in our New York and Los Angeles offices.

InsideOut owns and operates numerous proprietary events and promotions, including the PowerShares Series featuring tennis pros including John McEnroe, Andre Agassi, Andy Roddick, Pete Sampras and Jim Courier, the Legendary Night Series of one-night tennis exhibitions and customized private corporate outings.
Jim Courier joined InsideOut Sports + Entertainment, LLC, as a founding partner after establishing himself as an all-time tennis great with a 13-year tour career. From 1988 to 2000, Jim won two Davis Cup titles, four Grand Slam singles crowns, 23 singles titles world-wide and was the first American male to be ranked as world No.1 since John McEnroe. Jim has finished as the year-end champion of the PowerShares Series on four occasions. He was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in July of 2005.
Jon Venison is a Founding Partner at InsideOut Sports + Entertainment, producing events and owned content including the PowerShares Series and Outback Champions Series in the United States, and more than one hundred live events internationally including The Mercedes Benz Classic, Serving for Tsunami Relief, Rogers Legends Cup, Gibson Grand Slam, and DirectTV Old School Challenge.
Previously, Venison held the position of Vice President at LiveWire Capital, a New York-based Media and Communications focused investment firm. Prior to that, he held the position of Vice President of Business Development at SFX Entertainment, Inc. which became Clear Channel Entertainment and produced over 26,000 events for more than 52 million people annually. Before venturing into the business side, Venison was a world-ranked professional tennis player on the ATP and ITF tours.
