First of all I am very excited to be in Charlotte. It is my first time here and I cant wait to look at the town. So far I haven't seen much because I have jetlag and need to sleep to catch up. The tournament site at the Championships at the Palisades is fantastic. The ambience is great and I really enjoy the Charlotte crowds. It is so nice to play such a high level of tennis with these crowds. Tonight I played Wayne Ferreira and I was really looking forward to playing against him. It was my first time against Wayne. I feel like we played some really good points and the crowd was animated. This is my first Outback Champions Series event and I wish to play more. These are some of the greatest players of the world and I have played against some of them but some of them I have not. I have played against Jim three times and I think he is the fittest and toughest player to beat. I also played Aaron in Marbella recently and I beat him...I was playing really good and it was my home crowd so I don't know what will happen here because he will be the favorite with an American crowd. There are some matches I would like to see this week. I want to see any match with John McEnroe. Ok, now I will go back to the hotel and rest. Bye! Sergi
