BIOGRAPHY

He is best known for winning the men's singles title at Wimbledon in 1991. In 1992, he won the men's doubles title at Wimbledon and the men's doubles gold medal at the Olympic Games, and was a singles runner-up at the 1994 US Open and the 1996 French Open.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

+In 1991, Stich defeated countryman Boris Becker in straight sets to capture the Wimbledon title.
