Pro tennis is back in Arizona this November!
The Outback Champions Series tennis debuts in Arizona with the announcement of a brand new tennis event for Arizona tennis fans.
The Cancer Treatment Centers of America Championships at Surprise will kick off November 5-9, 2008 at the beautiful Surprise Tennis Center.
The first three players committed to competing for the $150,000 in prize money are legendary Americans Jim Courier, Todd Martin and the veteran South African, Wayne Ferreira. The full field of eight champions will be announced at a later date.

Event Information
8 Legendary Tennis Champions compete in the Cancer Treatment Centers of America Championships at Surprise, November 5th-9th at the Surprise Tennis Center in Surprise, AZ.
This tournament is part of the Outback Champions Series circuit, home of the world's best male tennis players 30 and over.
Matches begin Wednesday, November 5th at 6:30pm and continue through the Championship Match on the afternoon of Sunday, November 9th.
The eight players are divided into two groups of four players and will play three round robin matches each from Wednesday through Saturday with the top two finishers in each group advancing to Sunday's Championship or 3rd place match.
Players competing for the $54,000 first prize: Jim Courier, Todd Martin, Wayne Ferreira and 5 other tennis Champions.
With an intimate stadium for 2,500 fans this is a tennis experience you don’t want to miss!
Kids Day – Saturday, November 8 from 12noon – 1pm. Free for kids 18 and under. The first 100 kids will play tennis on Center Court with two of the tournament players and receive a free ticket to the Saturday Afternoon Session.
